Writer, Director and star (his words) wrties:
Welcome pantaloons to this, our fifth Sergeants' Mess production. The last year has seen some highlights when we had the opportunity to present charity funds we raised from last years show The Sound of Museli to worthy local groups and individuals.
However, the year has not passed without sadness as one of our founding members Alan " Bomber" Mills was suddenly taken from us following a heart attack. Bomber appeared in all our previous shows, and as the director I can say I never once caught him acting, he was always just himself and for this he will be sorely missed.
We also lost a stalwart from your side of the stage, our former commanding officer Lt Colonel Richard Dixon RM.
Looking forward then to happier thoughts, this year's show is called Dad's Barmy. Before starting to write this pitiful tome I did seek approval from both the BBC and the original writers, and sadly for you the both agreed............
