2015 Armed Forces Day Flag

Bob Davies represented the Branch at a ceremony at Deal town hall to raise the Armed Forces Day flag to mark the beginning of Armed Forces week.
The Town Mayor, local dignitaries, serving troops, reserves, and veterans of our forces joined with others to carry out this short but important event.
Bryan ‘Billy’ Walker played the Bugle calls as the flag was raised which was watched by all those attending and many more residents and visitors to Deal.
On completion all were invited back into the town hall for refreshments.

This years Armed Forces day service in Deal will take place on the apron of Deal pier on Sunday 28th June starting at 1045 followed by a short march towards the Royal Hotel where the salute will be taken. All those attending are invited to the RBL club afterwards for a buffet reception.
